Oh so tired... : I was making dinner and Cohen kept saying.. Mom i am so hungery. I want to eat. I was so mad at him for how many times he said it in a row that I walked over to him to tell him to stop and he was fast asleep. He slept lik this for over a hour and woke up and wanted to go to sleep in his bed. It was only 5:30 and slept until morning. What a tired little boy he was.

Joy School : A couple of girls in the neighborhood got together and we are doing joy school with our children. I took some picture of the kids today at my house. We started off reading books than went to song time. After that we had an activity. We went out and had a relay race. This was the last lesson of this unit so I tied all the lessons into one. From our body parts, 5 senses, being healthy and eating healthy. It was so funny I had a plate of food for each person and they had to show me when they ate it if it made them strong or weak. They had a blast showing me their muscles and than being weak when they ate chips and cookies. We than learned about the letter J and colored pictures about things that start with the letter J. They are all learning and progressing so much.

Visit to the Hills home : So we went to Joett and Jeff's house last weekend and Cohen had a blast. Every day he asks if we can go on the roller coaster again. Cohen with his new two wheel bike : Jeremy went out and bought Cohen his first bike. He had fun chasing after the older kids in the neighborhood. He did pretty well might I add. Cohen and the Train : The coolest thing happened. On the way back from the American Fork Carnival I saw a train stopped on a side track so I thought I would try to take a cool shot or two with Cohen and the train. Well I didn't know how close I could get since the engines were still running but after a few minutes the conductor of the train came out of the lead engine and said that we could come right up close as they were stopped for a while. Upon getting close to the train Cohen kind of froze and he wouldn't stand on the front or the ladder but I did get a good shot of him standing on the track. Then the conductor asked if we wanted to go inside the engine, well of course we accepted the invitation and went inside and met the engineer and then Cohen got to sit in the engineer's chair and even push the train's horn a couple of times. Cohen was so funny. He definately wanted to be there but kind of stayed mute the whole time. The engine finally got the green light to head off to the Provo train yard so we said good bye and got a couple of shots of Cohen standing by the cars as the train slowly moved away. Pretty cool adventure!

Trip to the petting zoo : Today we went to the Petting Zoo at Thanksgiving Point with Momma Donna, Jenn and Ethan. We were able to feed the animals and even got to go on a wagon ride twice. Cohen could have had a pony ride, but he would not get on it. Ethan went on two pony rides and had a blast.

2nd Birthday : We celebrated Cohen's 2nd birthday at our home with the Utah Pexton family.When we ask how old he is he saids two with all five fingers because he cannot get only two up. He recevied lots of fun things and even got his first dollar bills from Great Grandma Green. He enjoyed his cake and time with family. What a joy he has brought into our lives these first 2 years.

Play Group at the Fire Station : For Play Group this week we went to the Lehi Fire Station. The kids had a blast learning about firemen and the best part was they all got to sit on the fire truck. Our little Trip to Portland : Jeremy had to go to Portland for work so we decided to make a little trip out of it. We had fun time. Cohen got to ride on a train for the first time. Well it was just a light rail system, but close enough to a train. We rode it to the Mall and even to the Portland Zoo. While we were down there we were able to visit with a good friend of mine that I grew up with, Terra. She has a little boy named Paul. He is 14 months. Cohen's favorite new faces : Cohen just started making this fuuny face this past weekend. When ever we called his name he used to smile really big, but now he makes this funny face. Cohens First Hiking Trips : These pics are a compilation of two hikes Jules, Cohen and I did in June and early July. The first trip took us to the Boulder river where we saw some spectacular waterfalls. This was Cohen's first outing in his little backpack and he was awesome. After a little bit of adjusting he rode in the pack like a champ. After a while he was so comfortable that he slept most of the way. There are some other pics of our hike to Snow Lake near the summit of Snoqualmie Pass. This was about a 4 mile hike in up over a ridge to a beautiful mountain surrounded lake. The weather was quite drizzley but fun just the same. We went with our good friends Sundee and Brennon Gomm and their two fun Labs, Codie and Danie. What a fun trip!
